Fame: The Musical

The Bedford Marianettes present a brand new production of Fame: The Musical. 
 

When you think of Fame you are bound to think of the exuberant Oscar-winning title song with its high energy chorus. Fame: The Musical is a dazzling stage show full of more breath-taking singing and incredible dancing!

Directed by Kayleigh Quinn and Choreographed by Rachel Clifford & Flo Rowntree with Musical Direction from Ed Jones & Tim Dawes.

 

This new production will be bringing the new students of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts (PA) and many more characters to light up the sky of Bedford like a flame. Ultimately, a bittersweet but inspiring story of a group of classmates in their pursuit of fame through four years of gruelling artistic and academic work at PA. With honesty and humour, the show confronts multiple issues and themes including, struggling with illiteracy, substance abuse, growing up, dedication and determination to succeed.
